Les Trois Puits- Congénies

About us

LES TROIS PUITS, or THE THREE WELLS is an old village house situated opposite the Maison Quaker, that was converted from a set of barns at the turn of the century. The water found on the site made it possible to make barrels in which the local wine was stored and sold.

This then became a wine warehouse in the village, before the development of the modern system of using a local 'Cave Cooperative' The house is set inside a walled garden that has been developed with the use of the well water to allow the creation of a green space unusual in this region, with many interesting plants and birds.
